Knorr Cooking Class with Marco Pierre White

While I was attending Blogher 2011 in San Diago last weekend, we were just walking by the Knorr area in the Expo and was asked to join a cooking class with 5 other bloggers. Can you believe who was teaching this class?! That's Marco Pierre White! He has trained and mentored a bunch of famous chefs like Mario Batali, Gordon Ramsay and Curtis Stone.

So I made risotto for the very first time with a world famous chef, and he gave me a signed copy of his cookbook at the end.....seriously what a great experience!

Chef Marco has used Knorr cooking stock for 30 years, and we used their newest convenient product (Knorr Homestyle Stock tub) to make Asparagus Risotto with Chervil.

Here is the complete recipe and directions.

It really is quite fast to make risotto and I think I can definately make it again! I love asparagus and this one was super creamy and cheesy, a crowd pleaser for sure. I loved it!!

Chef Marco was really nice and helpful. There were a few tense moments when he ran out of butter and it took a long time for someone to run and get more....I was ready for some Hell's Kitchen type yelling, but he was funny and it all turned out.

Try it your family will LOVE.
